2007 Merlot

Tasting notes: This bold, strong merlot displays an abundance of dark black cherry, espresso and chocolate.  This wine is huge in flavor and glycerin but still finessed and smooth to the mouth. The tannins, while bold and expressive are smooth and lead to a beautiful, lingering finish.  Fabulous now but should age 10 plus years.

2007 Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting notes: A bold yet extremely elegant Cabernet Sauvignon. The dark fruit finishes to a lovely smooth long lasting mouth feel. Extremely dense with chocolate, dark cherry and spice. This elegant Cabernet Sauvignon's tannins are present but not overpowering. Enjoyable now, this wine should age well into the future.

2006 Merlot

Tasting notes: The 2006 Donedei Merlot is a classic Donedei style wine. The bold flavors are evident yet the elegance once again shows through. Dark cherry and chocolate characteristics are abundant but not overpowering. The tannins are balanced and the glycerin is mouth coating and lingering. Integrated oak and dense flavor make this a Merlot with finish that lasts and lasts. Enjoyable now and will age gracefully.

2006 Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting notes: A beautifully elegant Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit is luscious and assertive without being  overpowering. Dark cherry and spice are evident as well as espresso and plum. The silky mouthfeel is complemented by lingering smooth tannins that lead to a long lovely finish. An exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon to complement food or on its own. Should age very well but is enjoyable now.

Black cherry fruit on the nose with raspberries and spice. Complex flavors with pronounced fruit, ripe tannins, brisk acidity, and a lengthy aftertaste. Very approachable now but because of the balance of acidity and pH levels, the wine will cellar very well.

2000 Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting notes: A Bordeaux blend that display cassis, blackberry, and spice. Plenty of structure with rich glycerin and approachable tannins, great balance and a flourishing finish. Approachable now as well as a great candidate for the cellar.
